Job Summary
RecLatam is looking for a part-time (20 hours per week) Criminal Defense Paralegal for a U.S.-based law firm. This is a remote position with a flexible schedule and the possibility of growing into a full-time role in the future.
Responsibilities:

Support attorneys in criminal defense cases in South Florida.

Prepare draft and file legal documents and pleadings.

Manage case files and communicate with clients and court personnel.

Coordinate and schedule depositions.

Utilize Floridas JAC system and e-filing portal.
-
Maintain organized case records using Dropbox and Google Sheets.
Requirements:

Proven background in Florida criminal defense (required).

Spanish-speaking (preferred).
-
Experience drafting motions and pleadings.

Familiarity with Floridas JAC system and e-filing portal.

Strong organizational and communication skills.
-
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
