About the Role
Reclatam is seeking a Paralegal to join our legal staffing team and support an immigration attorney with a primary focus on removal defense work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in detail-oriented immigration processessuch as O-1A visas or similar complex case typeswho is ready to expand their skills into removal cases.
Were looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment values precision and is eager to learn. Full training on removal procedures will be provided.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and organizing filings for removal defense cases including motions applications and evidence packets.

Draft and review supporting documents affidavits and exhibits under attorney supervision.

Maintain case calendars deadlines and communications with clients.

Conduct research on country conditions case law and procedural updates relevant to removal proceedings.

Prepare and organize materials for immigration court and USCIS submissions.

Communicate professionally with clients courts and agencies as needed.

Support the attorney with other administrative or case-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

Prior experience in immigration law (O-1A employment-based or family-based cases) preferred.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new case types specifically removal defense.

Experience using immigration case management software is a plus (e.g. Docketwise LawLogix or similar).
