Registered Manager Childrens Home (Ofsted) Up to 54000
The service is looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a childrens home and provide the highest standards of care support and safety. This is an exciting opportunity for an established Childrens Home Manager who is passionate about making a difference in young peoples lives while leading a committed team in a supportive and rewarding environment.
As Registered Manager you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Ofsted-registered childrens home. Youll ensure the home is a safe nurturing and positive environment where children and young people can thrive while meeting all regulatory requirements and providing strong leadership to the staff team.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services.
- At least 2 years experience as a Registered Manager or similar leadership role within a childrens home.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations inspections safeguarding whistleblowing and supervision practices.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive as part of the role.
- Ability to lead inspire and develop a team within a childrens residential setting.
- Clear enhanced DBS check.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the childrens home in line with Ofsted regulations.
- Ensure safeguarding welfare and quality of care are always prioritised.
- Provide supervision support and development for staff to ensure best practice.
- Oversee inspections audits and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Promote a warm supportive and stable environment for children and young people.
- Manage budgets resources and ensure effective record-keeping.
- Build strong relationships with children families and external professionals.
