Registered Manager Childrens Home (Ofsted) Up to 54000

The service is looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a childrens home and provide the highest standards of care support and safety. This is an exciting opportunity for an established Childrens Home Manager who is passionate about making a difference in young peoples lives while leading a committed team in a supportive and rewarding environment.

As Registered Manager you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Ofsted-registered childrens home. Youll ensure the home is a safe nurturing and positive environment where children and young people can thrive while meeting all regulatory requirements and providing strong leadership to the staff team.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services.
At least 2 years experience as a Registered Manager or similar leadership role within a childrens home.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations inspections safeguarding whistleblowing and supervision practices.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive as part of the role.
Ability to lead inspire and develop a team within a childrens residential setting.
Clear enhanced DBS check.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the daily operations of the childrens home in line with Ofsted regulations.
Ensure safeguarding welfare and quality of care are always prioritised.
Provide supervision support and development for staff to ensure best practice.
Oversee inspections audits and compliance with policies and procedures.
Promote a warm supportive and stable environment for children and young people.
Manage budgets resources and ensure effective record-keeping.
Build strong relationships with children families and external professionals.
