The Home
This is a brand-new 2-bed Childrens Therapeutic Assessment Home in Salisbury supporting young people aged 717 with EBD. The service is designed to provide a structured therapeutic environment where young people can stabilise be carefully assessed and move forward with clear clinically informed care planning.
As a new home this role offers a genuine opportunity to shape culture standards and practice from day one.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking a confident values-led Registered Manager who can lead a new service with warmth accountability and strong clinical partnership working.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the full set-up and day-to-day running of the home including embedding strong safeguarding and quality standards
Working closely with clinical teams to support assessment stabilisation and therapeutic planning
Creating a safe structured nurturing environment where young people feel safe understood and supported
Recruiting developing and motivating a skilled staff team to deliver trauma-informed therapeutic care
Ensuring compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations Ofsted expectations and internal policies
Managing referrals placement stability care planning risk management and outcomes
Maintaining inspection readiness and driving continuous improvement from the outset
Requirements
Significant leadership experience within Ofsted-registered childrens residential care
Experience working alongside clinical teams and implementing clinically informed care plans
Level 3 Children & Young Persons Workforce (essential)
QCF Level 5 Leadership/Management (or willingness to work towards this)
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and regulatory compliance
Confident leadership communication and organisational skills
Comfortable supporting the opening journey of a new home and setting standards from day one
