The role Te mahi
As a trade qualified painter within the Property and Campus Development Division in this role you will oversee the day-to-day planning management development and direction of our painting and signage services across our Dunedin campus.
You will enjoy the opportunity to work on a range of varied and interesting projects across campus including world class research teaching and laboratory facilities.

Having worked in a similar leadership role you will be able to guide and mentor your staff. We are looking for candidates who:
Are Qualified tradesman painters.
Are client centred with a strong service ethic.
Have critical thinking and problem-solving skills relevant to the position.
Have an ability to easily grasp new processes and technologies.
Are results focussed with the ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
Can demonstrate excellent general knowledge of materials equipment and sub-trades relative to the building industry.
Show good understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act and worker responsibilities.
Are collaborative with the ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships with colleagues.
