Inviting applications for the role of Manager Data Engineer (Azure) Agentic AI
In this role youll be part of Genpacts transformation under GenpactNext as we lead the shift to Agentic AI Solutionsdomain-specific autonomous systems that redefine how we deliver value to clients. Youll help drive the adoption of innovations like the Genpact AP Suite in finance and accounting with more Agentic AI products set to expand across service lines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design development and governance of enterprise-grade data engineering pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) Synapse Pipelines and Databricks/Spark.
Architect and oversee data lake and warehouse solutions on Azure Synapse Analytics ensuring scalability performance and cost efficiency.
Drive data migration integration and modernization initiatives from legacy platforms to cloud-native Azure environments.
Ensure strong data governance security and compliance using Microsoft Purview Azure AD and Key Vault.
Collaborate with analytics product and engineering teams to deliver real-time data solutions that enable business insights and AI-driven outcomes.
Manage DevOps automation and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for consistent reliable deployment of data applications.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to data engineers fostering best practices in architecture performance tuning and operational excellence.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Proven experience designing and implementing data pipelines and integration frameworks using ADF Synapse or similar Azure tools.
Strong expertise in data warehousing lakehouse and real-time analytics using Synapse ADLS and Event Hubs / Stream Analytics.
Proficiency in Python SQL and Spark for large-scale data processing and automation.
Solid understanding of data governance lineage and quality frameworks with hands-on exposure to Microsoft Purview.
Experience in secure cloud architecture access management and compliance within distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science Electronics or related field.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent Azure certification.
