Job Summary
The Bodyshop Manager is responsible for overseeing complete bodyshop operations ensuring high-quality repairs timely vehicle delivery customer satisfaction and profitability in an authorized automobile dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end bodyshop operations including denting painting and accident repairs
- Ensure repair quality in line with OEM standards and audit requirements
- Monitor turnaround time (TAT) and ensure timely vehicle delivery
- Achieve bodyshop revenue margin and productivity targets
- Lead train and supervise bodyshop advisors technicians painters and support staff
- Coordinate with insurance companies and surveyors for claim approvals and settlements
- Handle customer escalations and ensure high customer satisfaction levels
- Control paint consumables and spare parts usage to minimize wastage
- Ensure accurate job cards estimates billing and DMS updates
- Maintain safety housekeeping 5S and statutory compliance in the bodyshop
- Track KPIs prepare MIS reports and review team performance
- Ensure adherence to dealership processes and OEM guidelines
