About the Role

As an AI Engineer (Backend) youll be part of the implementation team responsible for building production-grade AI agents for enterprise clients in the Netherlands. Your work will focus on backend architecture integrations and real-time conversational systems enabling high-quality AI voice and chat experiences.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend logic for AI agents.
Develop integrations with CRMs ticketing and telephony systems.
Deploy and monitor production environments.
Collaborate with AI and infrastructure teams to optimize performance.
Support enterprise clients during rollout and customization phases.

Requirements

26 years of backend / software engineering experience.
Strong skills in API integrations microservices and SaaS.
Hands-on with Python Go or Java.
Understanding of AI / LLM conversational systems (nice to have).
Familiarity with ASR TTS Twilio Genesys NICE is a plus.
Experience working with enterprise or B2B SaaS clients.
Fluent Dutch (C2-level or equivalent) and English.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving office-first environment.
