Project Manager – Oil & Gas / QatarEnergy Projects

Location: Doha Qatar

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the execution of oil & gas and industrial projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate must have a proven background in managing QatarEnergy projects strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of EPC project delivery from initiation to handover.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the planning execution and completion of oil & gas and industrial projects in accordance with contract requirements.

Ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

Manage engineering procurement construction and commissioning (EPCC) phases effectively.

Interface with clients consultants and subcontractors maintaining excellent relationships and clear communication.

Review and approve project schedules risk assessments and progress reports.

Lead project meetings technical reviews and performance evaluations.

Ensure strict compliance with QatarEnergy standards HSE regulations and company QA/QC procedures.

Oversee resource planning budget control and contractual matters.

Manage variations claims and project closeout documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Civil or Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum 10–15 years of experience in project management roles within oil & gas or industrial EPC projects.

Extensive experience with QatarEnergy (QP) projects is mandatory.

Strong technical and contractual knowledge in pipeline process or utility systems.

Excellent leadership communication and client coordination skills.

PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage.

Candidate must be currently available in Qatar with transferable visa and valid QID.
