- BSc in mechanical electrical or process engineering.
- Membership of an appropriate international professional body.
- Registered as (or formally working towards) Incorporated Engineer or equivalent.
- Lead the Maintenance function to deliver both breakdown and preventive maintenance across all operational equipment utilities and infrastructure.
- Ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability through a multi-skilled maintenance approach aligning with the organizations deliberate maintenance strategy.
- All activities should be carried out in compliance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and safety standards to support sustainable operations and continuous improvement.
- Oversee and ensure the effective execution of all maintenance functions including proactive planning scheduling and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Enhance site operational effectiveness by developing and enforcing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) improving project delivery increasing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and reducing downtime.
- Lead and manage multi-disciplinary maintenance teams to deliver technical excellence and industry best practices.
- Develop implement and maintain maintenance policies procedures and systems aligned with modern maintenance strategies.
- Drive departmental performance by managing delivery against Continuous Improvement KPIs.
- Promote and implement modern maintenance principles by identifying operational deficiencies recommending improvements in policies processes training and work practices.
- Act as a mentor and leader within the maintenance function fostering a culture of accountability learning and performance excellence.
