The Opportunity
Were looking for a Data Engineer Consultant withKnowledge Graph experience to help design and implement RDF-based data solutions that support complex relationships and insights across enterprise systems. This role will be central to building scalable ontologiesin Stardog using SPARQL and will collaborate closely with data engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Youll be instrumental in shaping how knowledge graph databases are used to unlock value from interconnected
data and will contribute to both technical delivery and strategic enablement.
What Youll Do
Graph Data Modelling: Design and implement ontologies and semantic data models using RDF and OWL within the Stardog platform.
SPARQL Query Development: Build test and optimise SPARQL queries to support data insertion update retrieval
and inference.
Data Integration: Connect heterogeneous data sources into Stardog using virtual graphs data mappings and data virtualization features.
Integration with Data Pipelines: Collaborate with data engineers to integrate knowledge graph solutions into broader data ecosystems ensuring performance and reliability.
Platform Enablement: Support the setup governance and documentation of knowledge graph database platforms including access control and data lifecycle management.
Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to internal learning through documentation workshops and technical guidance.
What Youll Bring
- Experience working with graph databases (e.g. Stardog Neo4j Amazon Neptune).
- Strong understanding of SPARQL and ontology modelling.
- Familiarity with data engineering practices and tools (e.g. ETL pipelines cloud platforms).
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate across teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
