Job Summary
- Develop detailed structural drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Interpret engineers sketches and design intent to prepare precise construction drawings.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure drawings meet project specifications and
- standards.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback markups or design changes.
- Ensure drafting deliverables adhere to applicable building codes and standards.
- Manage drawing files maintain documentation and ensure version control throughout project lifecycle.
- Assist in preparing drawing packages and documentation for submission or review.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines and quality benchmarks.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architecture or a similar field is preferred
- 5 years of experience in structural drafting or a similar role
- Proficient in AutoCAD and experienced in producing technical structural drawings
- Skilled in Microsoft Word Outlook and Excel for reporting and documentation tasks
- Familiarity with residential and commercial project documentation
- Autodesk Revit experience considered an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and document control
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working with Australian standards or project requirements is preferred

Required Skills:
