Job Summary
Business Analyst
Job Description: Must have skills5 years of minimum experience in business analysis or relat-ed field. Experience in running UATs with business groups and ability to triage and articulate defects. Previous industry experience in Retail Core banking Retail Investment preferred Expe-rience integrating JIRA and Confluence. Experience in both Waterfall Agile project environ-ment. Expert knowledge of Excel and Visio (or other diagramming tool).Excellent oral and writ-ten communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities Ability to interface with stakeholders and understand re-quirements to manage the requirements definition process from elicitation through delivery (via BRDs andor user stories etc.) and implementation (defining and evaluating acceptance criteria).Ability to evaluate test and recommend enhancements and changes identify risks and propose mitigation plan while having the ability to drive the solution design process devel-op and execute test cases where applicable own defects analysis and validation of defects remediation. Experience with elicitation techniques (e.g. document analysis interviews facili-tated workshops observation prototyping focus groups surveys. Experience with various project delivery methodologies (e.g. Waterfall Iterative and Agile) or on a large scale project. Ability to speak with Developers about features issues and potential solutions with a high degree of technical sophistication. Ability to speak with the vendor Research Development teams in addition to project teams with a high degree of business and product knowledge. Able to analyse large data sets identify underlying data patterns document findings and problem solve. Effectively communicate - verbal and written. Ability to lead projects and junior analysts as per project requirements.
