Service Tech I

1st Shift: 6am-4:30pm Mon-Thursday OT on Fridays
Pay: $21 up to $3 in raises in first year

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Operate tools and equipment and use safe work habits.
• Perform custom build/repair fit-up and welding assignments.
• Perform Electrical and Air Systems repairs and diagnostics.
• Review and interpret specification documentation and information related to assignments to assure product is repaired to customer specifications.
• Repair weld or replace material drill holes in frame or body install reflective tape replace or repair suspension(s) brake replacement or adjustment.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) preferred.
• Proficient in steel stainless and aluminum MIG and TIG welding (Qualified Welder)
• Demonstrated mechanical skills.
• Proficient knowledge of tank electric and hydraulics.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret drawings prints and a tape measure.
• Ability to accurately use and read micrometers calipers and precision measuring instruments.
• Demonstrated full range of tank knowledge and expertise.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to fit into and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work at heights of up to 15 feet.
• Ability to wear a tight face-fitting respirator.

• 100% of time is spent in a factory environment with noise dust and mechanical operations.
