Job Summary: | The Department of Pediatrics Section of Nephrology has an opening for a 1.0 FTE/0.9 cFTE open rank faculty member to provide inpatient and outpatient services in support of our clinical programs at the Childrens Hospital Colorado Colorado Springs and Anschutz campuses. This position will include opportunities for involvement in the administrative research and educational aspects of our program. Key Responsibilities:

Work Location: | Onsite this role is expected to work at our Colorado Springs campus as well as our Anschutz campus in Aurora CO. |

Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Assistant Professor Associate Professor or Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below: Assistant Professor MD or DO degree Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Nephrology Must be licensed or able to obtain licensure and DEA certification in the State of Colorado prior to start date Clinical experience with complex kidney disease. Associate Professor: MD or DO degree Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Nephrology Must be licensed or able to obtain licensure and DEA certification in the State of Colorado prior to start date Clinical experience with complex kidney disease. 8 years of related faculty-level or equivalent experience Professor: MD or DO degree Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Nephrology Must be licensed or able to obtain licensure and DEA certification in the State of Colorado prior to start date Clinical experience with complex kidney disease. 10 or more years of experience at the Associate Professor rank or equivalent experience Condition of Employment: Must successfully pass a drug test through Childrens Hospital Colorado Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check *For questions regarding Childrens Hospital drug testing requirements please contact Childrens Human Resources at . Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: Assistant Professor: $181220-$195345 Associate Professor: $217345-$236140 Professor: $285475-$310563 There is an additional opportunity for a clinical productivity bonus. The above hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
