This well-established national civil contractor is a leading contractor who work within resources local authorities and main roads projects across Australia. Led by a team of highly skilled professionals within the industry this contactor is experienced across multiple disciplines including roads earthworks drainage rail and concrete structures.

This brownfield project consists of roadworks & structures for TMR on a local Logan project valued at $200M. You will play a key role as an experienced Project Engineer in delivering the civils & road package. You will liaise with the client ensuring that the program is met and coordinate with the Supervisor maintaining a positive relationship between site staff and contractors.

Reporting to the Project Manager your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Subcontract management
Planning programming & resourcing
Progress claims & variations
Reporting on a weekly & monthly basis
Managing junior engineers

The successful individual must have a proven track record of delivering projects to DTMR specifications and quality standards with a civil contractor in similar conditions on medium to large projects. A minimum of 4 years main roads TMR / Council roads experience and have relevant Civil Engineering tertiary qualifications. It is desirable but not essential to have PUP (Public Utility Plant) experience or similar utilities (water gas network) relocation experience across roads.
