Job Summary
Job Title: Bar and/or Café Attendant (Casual)
Start Date: Immediate start
Pay Rate: $32.67 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) Meal allowance when shift is 5.5 hours or more
Requirements: Must hold a current RSA. Experience in bar or café operations is essential; experience in both is highly regarded.
Job Summary:
The Bar and/or Café Attendant is responsible for delivering friendly efficient and professional service across our bar and café outlets. The role involves preparing and serving beverages assisting with food service maintaining a clean and welcoming environment and ensuring every guest enjoys a great experience.
Primary Purpose:
To provide quality service and support in bar and café operations contributing to a positive experience for all members and guests.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in either bar or café service (both preferred)
- Cash handling experience
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Operate coffee machines and serve café-style food items
- Take and deliver orders accurately
- Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of bar café and service areas
- Comply with all RSA and workplace safety requirements
Qualifications:
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Proven experience in bar and/or café operations (both preferred)
- Availability to work across days nights weekends and public holidays
- Over 18 years old
