Bedfordshire Pension Fund are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Pensions Performance and Continuous Improvement Officer to join our team.


Reporting to the Pensions Performance and Continuous Improvement Manager you will deliver key projects and ensure legislative compliance across all business processes.

Youll play a pivotal role in undertaking the full implementation of the McCloud and other future retrospective remedies and completion of the GMP reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage workloads and project delivery to meet statutory and internal deadlines.
  • Ensure business processes are compliant with LGPS regulations and other relevant legislation.
  • Incorporate new technologies in new and existing processes.
  • Develop and maintain workflow documentation and process notes.
  • Provide expert advice on legislative changes and policy development.
  • Deliver quality assurance on member benefit calculations.

Role Requirements:

  • Educated to NVQ Level 3/HNC/D or have substantial LGPS experience.
  • Experienced in pensions administration platforms payroll systems and reporting tools.
  • Experienced in LGPS regulations and remedial projects such as McCloud and GMP.
  • Skilled in managing multiple workstreams and communicating effectively at all levels.
  • Capable of interpreting legislation into compliant processes.
