Education Qualification: Any graduation or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer with strong expertise in functional manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the banking domain and hands-on experience with the Robot Framework. This role demands excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to test case design and execution.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design develop and execute comprehensive test cases for functional and automation testing.
Perform manual testing to validate application functionality and user experience.
Implement and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
Identify document and track defects through resolution.
Participate in test planning estimation and reporting activities.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing.
Strong proficiency in functional and manual testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for automation.
Solid understanding of the banking domain and related applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to design effective and efficient test cases.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
Must-Have Skills:
These are essential for the candidate to be successful in the role.
Functional Testing Strong understanding of functional testing principles and practices.
Manual Testing Proven experience in manual test execution and defect reporting.
Automation Testing Hands-on experience with automation tools especially Robot Framework.
Banking Domain Expertise Solid experience in testing banking applications or systems.
Test Case Design Ability to design effective and comprehensive test cases.
Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication for collaboration and reporting.
Good-to-Have Skills:
ISTQB or Equivalent Certification Formal testing certification.
CI/CD Integration Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Version Control Systems Experience with tools like Git.
Agile/Scrum Methodologies Exposure to Agile development environments.
Test Management Tools Knowledge of tools like JIRA TestRail or similar.
Scripting Knowledge Basic scripting skills (e.g. Python) to enhance automation capabilities.
