Job Summary
Role Overview
As the Senior Pattern Maker you will act as the technical backbone of the studio. You will be responsible for developing production-ready manual patterns leading fittings and ensuring the highest standards of garment construction and fit.
Note: This role is strictly for manual pattern makers (No CAD usage).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop manual patterns from design sketches for high-end garments
Create production-ready patterns with precision in fit balance and construction
Perform grading across full size ranges
Lead fittings and technical corrections with proper documentation
Ensure all garments meet luxury-level quality standards
Collaborate closely with the design team
Mentor junior team members / tailors as the team expands
Maintain detailed documentation of patterns corrections and processes
Requirements
Candidate Profile
Proven experience in senior-level manual pattern making (luxury / couture)
Strong expertise in:
Garment construction
Fit & balance
Sizing & grading
Experience with corsets structured tailoring gowns and complex silhouettes
Ability to independently deliver from design to production-ready output
Strong portfolio showcasing construction-heavy work (not CAD-based)
Good communication skills (English)
Willingness to relocate to Lucknow (on-site role)
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: 1.5L 2.5L per month
