Sir William Perkinss School is seeking an inspiring and visionary leader to head our newly merged Art and Design Technology department a dynamic hub of creativity that brings together two highly successful well-resourced teams. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape a curriculum that spans a broad spectrum of disciplines including Fine Art Photography Product Design Textiles and Food & Nutrition. Our facilities are exceptional and designed to inspire creativity across all disciplines. Both Art and Design Technology consistently achieve outstanding GCSE and A Level results reflecting the strength of our teaching and resources. We have spacious well-lit specialist art studios complete with a photography darkroom dedicated print room and kiln. Our Design Technology provision includes a fully equipped workshop for wood metals and plastics alongside a CAD studio featuring industry-standard software a laser cutter and two 3D addition the department has a hybrid kitchen and textiles room as well as a specialist textiles studio ensuring students have access to outstanding resources to develop their skills and ideas.

Sir William Perkinss School is a high-performing academically selective independent school for approximately 600 students aged 11 18 years. The Head is both a member of HMC and GSA. It is located on an attractive 12- acre site situated on the outskirts of Chertsey a two-minute walk from the railway station and very near to the junction of the M3 and M25.
