Summary
- This role involves planning leading delivering and evaluating internal communications campaigns that align with the councils Strategic Plan. The position encompasses digital marketing events and face-to-face communications playing a crucial role in ensuring effective and culturally competent communication strategies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure communications are effective data-driven targeted and culturally competent.
- Provide strategic communications advice to senior officers and service leads.
- Support staff engagement projects as directed by management.
- Generate content individually and collaboratively including video social media and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with various services to ensure coordinated communication efforts aligned with the councils mission.
- Support the delivery of major campaigns and provide advice to colleagues.
- Contribute content and ideas for council publications and digital channels.
Requirements
- Experience in delivering impactful communications across various channels.
- Proven experience in staff engagement and managing corporate issues.
- Ability to transform complex information into engaging and targeted content.
- Education in a related field is essential.
Additional Information
- Working hours: 35 hours per week
