YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the development of our activities in the Naval & Shipbuilding sector in Saudi Arabia we are looking for a Planning & Logistics Engineer (M/F).
Reporting to the Project Technical Manager your main responsibilities will include:
- Define and implement the build strategy and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for naval projects
- Support planning and coordination of shipbuilding processes from production to outfittingManage and improve warehouse and logistics operations to ensure just-in-time supply and efficient flow of materials
- Monitor and update Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) self-inspections and quality plans
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 ISO 3834 ISO 45001 standards and classification society rules
- Collaborate with production QA/QC logistics and safety teams
- Apply and promote Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) measures within operations
- Use standard tools like MS Excel Word and planning software to support reporting and coordination
YOUR PROFILE & PERSONALITY
- Degree in Naval Architecture or Technical Naval Engineering
- At least 4 years of experience in naval shipbuilding projects (planning logistics or production-related roles)
- Solid understanding of shipbuilding processes quality systems and logistics management
- Familiarity with classification society regulations (e.g. DNV BV Lloyds Register)
- Good knowledge of technical documentation and reporting standards
- English level B2 minimum (advanced level preferred)
Soft skills:
Strong organizational and coordination abilities
Proactive collaborative and detail-oriented mindset
Ability to work under pressure and with multidisciplinary teams
