Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide skilled nursing care case management and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age frailty and serious illness. Responsibilities include patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and collaboration with patients providers and other team members are essential.
Location:Orange California United States
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Float between like units (DSU).
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- ACLS certification.
- BCLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- High acuity ICU experience.
Special Considerations:
- Must be willing to float between like units (DSU).
- The facility is able to call off once per two week pay period.
Scheduling:
- Every other weekend is required.
- Open to accommodating block schedule per manager discretion.
