Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab provides skilled nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. This role involves on-call responsibilities requiring a quick response time. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Location:Mission Hills California United States
Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Cath Lab.
- Monitor patients vital signs and overall condition during procedures.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Respond to emergency situations within a 30-minute timeframe while on call.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license.
- ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Experience with Epic charting system.
Special Considerations:

- On-call responsibilities are required involving approximately 5-6 shifts every two weeks.
- On-call shifts include every other weekend from Friday at 5:30 PM until Monday at 7:00 AM plus one day during the week.
- A 30-minute response time is required when on call.
Scheduling:
- Specific shift details will be determined upon hire.
- Weekend work is required every other weekend.
