Materials Inspection Technician (Aerospace)

PPG Aerospace in Avon MA is looking for a Materials Inspection Technician to safeguard product quality from receiving to shipment.

Heres whats in it for you

• Pay: $24.00 per hour
• Schedule: MondayFriday 6:00am2:30pm; OT and weekends as needed

What youll tackle

• Do you enjoy testing and measuring Youll perform visual and dimensional inspections on raw materials in-process parts and finished goods.
• Do procedures guide your work Youll follow specifications SOPs and industry standards without compromise.
• Is documentation your strength Youll maintain complete accurate quality records and entries in our ERP (QAD preferred).
• Are you hands-on with tools Youll handle equipment verification and calibration checks.
• Do you lead by example Youll uphold safety protocols wear PPE and help foster an inclusive collaborative environment.
• Can you juggle priorities Youll manage time and drive efficiency while protecting quality.

Bring your experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years in a lab quality or inspection setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail; able to follow instructions and work with cross-functional teams.
• Self-starter who prioritizes effectively and completes tasks end-to-end.
• Clear communicator who can flag issues and contribute to prevention of future defects.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (QAD preferred).
• Must be a US citizen.
