As a Maintenance Technician at Swift youll play a crucial hands-on role in maintaining the solar cell R&D and manufacturing equipment that powers our mission. This is a dynamic position where youll directly interact with and repair key machinery performing essential upgrades maintenance and troubleshooting across various systems. Youll work alongside engineers from R&D Process Engineering and Equipment Engineering to keep operations running smoothly and ensure equipment uptime is maximized. Your expertise will directly impact the success of Swifts technology and youll have the opportunity to influence our technical direction as an early member of the team.
On a typical day you might oversee Swifts maintenance management software platform creating a repair history log for a tool and documenting lessons learned. You might help a Process Engineer troubleshoot vacuum equipment reaching out to external equipment suppliers for support or leveraging your experience with local vendors to aid in repairing parts. To maximize equipment uptime youll develop preventative equipment maintenance processes and you might start executing some of these tasks. You will be vital to keeping operations running smoothly which could include maintaining gloveboxes implementing a new EHS equipment protocol and planning a contractor visit for a facility upgrade.
