Were seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager Student Success Initiatives to join our newly established Engagement & Student Success team within the Pro Vice-Chancellor Student Success (PVCSS) portfolio. This key role will design deliver and evaluate innovative programs that enhance student belonging wellbeing engagement and success across the University.
In this role you will:
Lead the development and implementation of evidence-based student success initiatives that improve the student experience and outcomes.
Drive continuous improvement through research evaluation and stakeholder consultation.
Collaborate closely with faculties student groups Arc and internal and external partners to ensure initiatives are co-designed inclusive and impactful.
Manage staff and student teams delivering on-the-ground engagement programs and wellbeing initiatives.
Develop evaluation frameworks to measure impact and progress report outcomes and inform future strategy.
Contribute to UNSWs student success frameworks and foster a culture of service collaboration and inclusion.
About You:
Youre an experienced professional who thrives on collaboration innovation and creating meaningful impact. Youll bring:
A relevant tertiary qualification with substantial experience in developing and delivering large-scale student engagement wellbeing or success programs.
Knowledge and understanding of the challenges affecting diverse student populations domestic and international impacting their engagement and success.
Proven project management skills and the ability to translate strategy into action.
Strong communication relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
High quality report writing with the ability to write for a variety of audiences and an ability to analyse complex information and produce easy-to-read policies and documents.
Ability to function effectively and independently with the capacity to take responsibility exercise independent judgement and proactively address and resolve complex problems as they arise including at senior levels to negotiate and agree on outcomes.
Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities adapt and assimilate information quickly manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
Experience managing teams and coordinating initiatives that enhance student participation and belonging.
