Our client a dynamic Managed Service Provider (MSP) is seeking an experienced Level 2 Desk Support Engineer to join their growing team. Based out of their Newcastle location you will provide onsite level 2 IT Support and join their national team providing telephone and email support to clients across Australia. This role may also require some travel to sites across Australia.
This role offers the opportunity to support a diverse client base across various industries. You will be responsible for providing expert technical support resolving escalated issues and ensuring seamless IT operations for our clients. Clients. Your strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple client environments will be crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users resolving hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot and escalate complex IT problems to Level 3 support where necessary.
- Manage and prioritize support tickets across multiple client accounts.
- Perform remote and occasional on-site support for various IT infrastructure components.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and solutions.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and internal teams.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a Level 2 IT Support role within the Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry.
- Proven experience managing IT support for multiple clients simultaneously.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP DNS DHCP Wi-Fi).
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools.
- Exceptional communication interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence.
