Qualifications
- Current employee of the School District of Lee County.
- One (1) year of District experience in the classroom or in a similar capacity working directly with students.
- Valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find acceptable.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Clear and concise oral and written communication skills; organizational and management skills; interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of and experience with organizing student activities and events.
- Knowledge of general policies and procedures for the functional area of assignment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA Public Records Sunshine Law FERPA and other laws/regulations related to student and employee privacy public information and records retention.
- Knowledge of and experience with industry-standard equipment materials practices computers and applications.
- Ability to professionally and effectively respond to customer needs and requests for service or assistance.
- Ability to relate to and inspire confidence in students.
- Ability to administer First Aid/CPR/AED as needed for illness injury or life-threatening emergencies per certification training guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Organize coordinate and supervise fee-based program activities which occur before and after the normal contractual day.
- Order appropriate materials and supplies needed for activities.
- Demonstrate and teach the activity of the day.
- Provide coaching mentoring support and supervision to students.
- Assist in arrangement of transportation chaperones security custodial help and assistance at all appropriate activities in-county and out-of-county.
- Assist with and ensure the proper clean-up of the room at the conclusion of all activities.
- Responsible for the care cleaning and securing of all school and District property.
- Report all accidents immediately to the Director.
- Recommend modifications to program documents forms processes reports and web pages.
- Collaborate and communicate with appropriate District personnel to support goals processes and requirements of the program.
- Assist other program staff to ensure the smooth operation of daily program functions.
- Adhere to District policies and procedures; abide by and enforce School Board policies on tobacco alcohol and drug use.
- Administer First Aid/CPR/AED as needed for illness injury or life-threatening emergencies per certification training guidelines.
