AECOM in Atlanta is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior ITS Traffic Signal and Operations Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and performance initiatives across our Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and traffic signal operations. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability safety and efficiency of traffic signal systems and ITS deployments across our network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quality management efforts for traffic signal operations ITS infrastructure and system performance.
- Develop and implement QA/QC protocols for controller configurations and ITS device functionality.
- Oversee audits inspections and performance reviews of traffic signal systems and ITS assets.
- Collaborate with engineering operations and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with local state and federal standards.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the deployment of advanced traffic management systems (ATMS) adaptive signal control and connected vehicle technologies.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to professional development within the team.

Qualifications :
Minimum:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Transportation Engineering or related field
- Eight years of experience in traffic signal operations ITS or transportation systems management. or demonstrated equivlalency of experience and/or education
Preferred:
- Master Degree in Civil Engineering Transportation Engineering or related fiel.
- Subject matter expert experience with traffic signal controllers central management systems and ITS devices.
- Experience with QA/QC processes performance metrics and system diagnostics.
- Familiarity with MUTCD NEMA standards and FHWA guidelines.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or PTOE certification is a plus.
