Job Summary

Be rewarded with uncapped compensation ranging from $150-300K by leveraging your existing relationships within the Municipal Water Utility sector in Ohio. Join a rapidly growing privately held construction and environmental services contractor that has been deeply rooted in water utilities and water distribution throughout the US for over 60 years.

As a Territory Sales Manager you will identify develop and close a wide range of capital improvement projects and long-term asset management programs that directly improve the aging water treatment and delivery infrastructure in our communities. Providing safe reliable drinking water is essential for our families and businesses.

This position offers flexibility to work remotely from your home office and includes comprehensive benefits a stable work environment monthly vehicle allowance program and lucrative uncapped sales commissions.

Qualifications include:

  • BS/BA in Construction Management Environmental Services or Technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years successful Sales Consulting or Operations experience with Municipal Water Utilities Water Meters Pipe Rehabilitation & Repair Civil Engineering or Construction industries.
  • Prior Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect data assess mechanical process equipment make recommendations for improvements prepare commercial proposals and close new business.
  • Exposure or expertise with design-build water wastewater or sewer infrastructure projects civil engineering and construction capital improvements and/or long-term maintenance service contracts is a plus.
  • Exposure or expertise with steel or concrete water storage tank construction renovations or maintenance is a plus.
  • Exposure or expertise with new Smart Water Meters for potable drinking water Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and/or Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) technologies is a plus.
  • Exposure or expertise with water or sewer pipe rehabilitation projects trenchless piping repair and/or spraying in place coating technologies is a plus.
  • Well-rounded mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pumps motors valves flanges seals piping tanks sensors instrumentation and control systems.
  • Consultative problem-solving selling approach with strong relationship management skills.
  • Strong competitive drive with consistent track record of high achievement.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Valid drivers license with good driving record.
