Job Description:

The Senior Event Planning Specialist serves as the global primary administrator and expert for the event teams technology ecosystem. This role is responsible for managing optimizing and executing within key platforms including Cvent Airtable Flowcode Salesforce Marketing Cloud and ON24 among others and will support planners in all regions. The ideal candidate is a systems-oriented problem solver who enjoys improving workflows building digital experiences and supporting event execution through technology.

Primary responsibilities include:

Platform Administration & Ownership

  • Serve as the primary admin for all event technology platforms (Cvent JiffleNow Airtable Flowcode Salesforce Marketing Cloud ON24 EZ Office Inventory Management).
  • Manage user access permissions integrations and system configurations.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and liaise with vendor support as needed.

Event Technology Execution

  • Build and manage event registration websites mobile apps and session management tools within Cvent.
  • Build and manage meeting scheduling events in JiffleNow.
  • Set up and maintain event workflows and data tracking systems in Airtable.
  • Support virtual and hybrid event builds in ON24 or other platforms.
  • Maintain demo inventory management system in EZ Office.

Marketing Automation & Communication

  • Create and schedule email campaigns and event communications within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Develop smart lists that can be utilized based on demographic campaign and end markets.
  • Ensure consistent branding and data accuracy across systems.

Process Improvement & Data Management

  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for tech processes.
  • Manage overall organization of all platforms and drive consistency across the regions.
  • Optimize integrations between systems to streamline data flow and reporting.
  • Provide data insights and support event reporting dashboards.

Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with event planners marketing teams and internal stakeholders to ensure tools are used effectively.
  • Train team members on system best practices and new features.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in marketing advertising communications or related field and 3 years of relevant experience or masters degree and 5 years of relevant work experience.

3-5 years of experience working in fast-paced corporate Marketing or Communications department or high-technology and/or business-to-business experience. Prior experience in semiconductor industry is a plus.

Prior experience working with event technology platforms preferably with Cvent or Aventri and the ON24 webinar platform or similar. Additional technologies such as inventory management tools are desired.

Proficiency in MS Office (Teams SharePoint Word Excel PowerPoint).

Working knowledge of the broader marketing function tradeshows event or meeting planning.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; sharp grammar skills. Ability to effectively and professionally present orally and in written form to all levels within the company.

Extensive experience handling multiple projects for various customers and ensuring accuracy toward completion.

Able to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.

Flexibility and strength in dealing with tight deadlines and rapidly changing situations.
