Job Summary

Role: Senior Mfg. Engineer
Location: Griffin GA

Study the Existing processes different product variants/models and various Manufacturing/ Planning Applications Current VSM based on collected data from shop floor and work towards arriving at Future state VSM with Cross functional team
Layout study and optimization for entire plant processes and facilitate creation of Auto CAD layout and validation of data with existing line to improve space optimization logistics and efficiency in operation
Prioritize the NPI (New product Introduction) models Virtual build for new machines.
Creation of new tool programs in accordance with new components.
Creating documents for developing new processes for new or existing machines based on manufacturing and assembly processes
Investigate new tools and technologies for developing sustainable and robust process for creation of Work Instructions and Optimize part presentation and material flow at line side and point of use
Providing support to offshore team for Engineering changes Job numbers tracking with effective date and prioritization customer feedback and communication.
Continuous co-ordination with various stake holders in Engineering Assembly and Shop Operations to plan and prioritize build review schedules.
Update assembly work instructions visual aids fixtures & tools needed for the Engine assembly using custom software tool Computer Aided Process Planning CAPP and communication of the Engineering changes to the shop floor. This requires an effective execution with global teams.
