The Opportunity

Our clienta multi-billion-dollar privately held organization with a high-volume hourly workforceis seeking a Regional Director of Human Resources (RDHR) to lead HR operations across the East Coast. This individual will serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the Regional Leadership Team aligning human capital strategy with business goals supporting both corporate and geographically dispersed teams.

Reporting to the CHRO for North America this role will drive HR initiatives related to talent strategy workforce planning organizational effectiveness cultural transformation and employee relations. The position is based in Fort Lauderdale FL with 50% travel required throughout the East Coast.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior HR leader with multi-site experience and a passion for culture engagement and developing high-performing teams in a complex fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to the Regional Leadership Team aligning talent and organizational strategies with operational goals
  • Drive enterprise-wide initiatives in workforce planning organizational design and leadership development
  • Oversee HR support for a large hourly population across multiple East Coast sites
  • Champion cultural transformation and employee engagement strategies for both field and corporate employees
  • Coach and develop HR teams creating a cohesive and agile function that supports employee experience and operational excellence
  • Influence business decisions through data-driven insights and workforce analytics
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to build strong leadership pipelines and succession plans
  • Lead complex employee relations matters with a focus on legal compliance risk mitigation and consistent policy application
  • Guide teams through organizational transitions including restructures leadership changes and reductions in force
  • Oversee compliance with federal state and local employment laws while proactively adapting to legislative changes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal Operations Finance and HR Centers of Excellence to execute strategic people initiatives
  • Promote diversity equity and inclusion in hiring performance and engagement practices

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field required; Masters or advanced HR certification (e.g. SHRM-SCP SPHR) strongly preferred
  • 10 years of progressive HR experience including 5 years in a senior HR leadership role overseeing geographically dispersed and hourly-based operations
  • Minimum of 5 years managing HR teams in multi-site environments
  • Demonstrated success leading cultural transformation and aligning people strategy with business performance
  • Proven expertise in employee relations risk mitigation and compliance across multi-state jurisdictions
  • Skilled in leading workforce planning succession and organizational design
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and advise senior leadership through data and insight
  • Exceptional communication coaching and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Experience supporting internal mobility leadership development and talent pipeline creation
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across East Coast regions
  • SHRM-CP/PHR certification required; SHRM-SCP/SPHR preferred
