We are looking for an experienced DevOps Architect to lead the end-to-end migration of a large-scale GitLab ecosystem to role requires strong technical expertise hands-on leadership and excellent communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration across offshore teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the full migration process from GitLab to GitHub including architecture design planning and execution;
Design and implement robust migration strategies to ensure minimal disruption and maximum efficiency;
Collaborate with offshore DevOps teams ensuring alignment coordination and effective knowledge sharing;
Engage with stakeholders setting clear expectations providing regular updates and ensuring transparency throughout the migration process;
Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions promoting best practices in DevSecOps;
Contribute to automation and infrastructure management through Terraform and cloud-native deployments;
Promote continuous improvement driving operational excellence across DevOps processes and tools.

Core Skills & Experience

10 years of experience in DevOps including 5 years in an architectural leadership role;
Proven expertise in migration projects particularly GitLab GitHub transitions;
Deep knowledge of GitHub Actions CI/CD and DevSecOps frameworks;
Proficient in Python Shell scripting YAML and Git;
Hands-on experience with Terraform and cloud-native infrastructure deployments;
Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation principles;
Excellent communication coordination and stakeholder management skills;
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with distributed (offshore) teams;
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
