Join Our Team as a Business Development Manager at Johnson Electric!

Location: Vandalia US
Travel: Frequent international travel including to mainland China

As our next Business Development Manager youll be instrumental in expanding our global customer base and product portfolio particularly within the robotics industry. Youll lead strategic planning guide engineering development and manage cross-functional teams to deliver innovative motion solutions.

What Youll Be Doing:

Develop and drive commercial strategy for the robotics segment
Lead pricing service and contract negotiations to secure profitable business
Manage P&L for assigned customer accounts
Consolidate product requirements and collaborate with engineering on roadmap execution
Analyze market trends and present new product strategies to leadership
Build and maintain strong customer relationships and networks
Ensure consistent global pricing strategies and resolve cost-related issues
Coordinate tooling and fixture schedules with internal and external teams
Support margin adjustments and concessions to secure comprehensive business packages

What Were Looking For:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Mechanical or related Engineering disciplines
Experience in the robotics or cobot industry with strong product and market insights
Background in motion/drive solution design and development
Experience managing global customer accounts
Engineering knowledge in micro-motors sensors actuators or application engineering
International work experience is a plus
Strong negotiation communication and presentation skills
Fluent in English; Mandarin Chinese preferred but not required
