This design role will define future experiences that will have the greatest impact on users thorough the joining and onboarding journey. This individual should have a passion for empathizing with the needs and behaviors of people the business and how to solve for them through design. This UX designer should thrive in ambiguity working directly with stakeholders across engineering operations research science and product management to identify strategic undefined opportunity areas to improve our experiences.
Key job responsibilities
Partners with engineering and product management team members in the execution and delivery of successful products and services using a customer-focused iterative design process.
Leads UX efforts by setting design direction driving discussion and activities while participating in delivery planning and coordination efforts.
Determines best UX solutions based on customer feedback and business goals identifying challenges and adapting as needed based on the context of the solution and customer.
Utilize storytelling and presentation skills to clearly communicate the design strategy outcomes and deliverables to diverse stakeholders.
Creates high quality deliverables and executes based on UX goals and priorities while driving the success of overall UX team delivery by seeking opportunities to make improvements to team efficiency and process.
Leverages fosters and extends the use of established UX techniques templates presentations and assets in the creation of UX analysis solutions and materials; proposes new solutions or optimizes existing ones and fosters UX artifact reuse and consistency across team members and/or projects

Drawing from customer insights business requirements and research data you will be responsible for ideating on innovative solutions. Strong storytelling and presentation skills are essential as this UX designer will need to clearly communicate the design strategy outcomes and deliverables to diverse stakeholders and senior leadership.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.

Workforce Solutions (WS) empowers our customers by providing integrated people-focused solutions that streamline hiring processes for WW Stores AWS Devices and Talent Acquisition. As stewards of the employee lifecycle and experience we drive initiatives that promote transparency and efficiency in career mobility workforce engagement and operational needs management. - 5 years of design experience
- 3 years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience prototyping (HTML XHTML JavaScript CSS Flash or Flash Catalyst or Axure)
- 2 years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs

The base salary for this position ranges from $74300/year up to $124000/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
