Equipment Mechanic
Northern Clearing is looking to hire a full-time Equipment Mechanic to work in our Ashland WI Shop.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
As an equipment mechanic your role will be focused on preventative diagnostic and routine maintenance on Skid Steers Track Loaders and Mini Excavators. Duties include:
- Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues using proper diagnostic tools.
- Disassemble repair and reassemble equipment to replace and update worn and broken parts as needed. This includes servicing equipment and components such as engines transmissions brakes electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain service records and work orders of equipment ensuring all completed work is documented within our work order system. Proficient skills and abilities to use computers and tablets for our work order software is preferred.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have general mechanical knowledge in Skid Steers Track Loaders and Mini Excavators. Knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance is preferred.
The successful candidate will be a hard worker have a can-do attitude personable punctual and safety minded.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of experience as mechanic preferred
