Our client a large international iGaming company is seeking a Director of Operational Excellence to drive efficiency scalability and continuous improvement across its global operations. Reporting directly to the COO this senior leadership role oversees performance monitoring reporting and cross-functional initiatives that enhance both operational effectiveness and customer experience.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills capable of aligning diverse operational teams and simplifying workflows to deliver measurable business impact.

Responsibilities:
As Director of Operational Excellence your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Operational Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Lead the delivery of weekly and monthly operational performance reports ensuring clear visibility of key metrics and trends.
- Monitor daily KPIs to identify performance gaps and proactively address emerging issues.
- Collaborate with departmental Directors to analyse data evaluate progress against goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Process Optimisation
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at simplifying and scaling operational processes.
- Champion initiatives that enhance efficiency and improve the overall customer journey.
- Identify opportunities to streamline systems tools and workflows across multiple business areas.
Project Management & Implementation
- Manage the operations project management team to ensure effective coordination prioritisation and delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Oversee execution of company-wide projects that impact operations ensuring timelines scope and objectives are met.
Operational Roadmaps & Development Prioritisation
- Develop and maintain operational roadmaps aligned with strategic business goals.
- Prioritise operational development requests for product and technology teams based on business impact and available resources.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration & Alignment
- Foster alignment across key operational areas including Customer Service Responsible Gaming Risk & Fraud Prevention and AML.
- Serve as a central coordination point to ensure consistent communication and unified execution of strategic objectives.
Strategic Leadership Support
- Provide insights and analysis to senior leadership to inform data-driven decisions.
- Deliver actionable recommendations to optimise performance and support long-term operational growth.
Requirements:
- Extensive leadership experience in operations ideally within the iGaming sector or a similarly fast-paced data-driven environment.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver process improvement projects.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPI management reporting and operational strategy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at a senior level.
- Demonstrated success in implementing scalable and efficient operational frameworks.
