A creative and vibrant secondary school in Cambridge is looking for a motivated Art Technician to join its thriving Art and Design department from January 2026.
The Role
Youll support teachers and students in delivering creative high-quality Art lessons helping prepare materials maintain studios and assist in displays and exhibitions.
The Department
The Art department is energetic and forward-thinking with specialist facilities for painting ceramics photography and digital design. Its a welcoming environment where creativity flourishes and collaboration is encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Prepare materials tools and workspaces for practical lessons.
- Maintain art studios and manage stock control.
- Support students with techniques and project work.
- Assist in setting up exhibitions and displays.
- Help maintain a safe and inspiring creative space.
About You
- Background in Art Design or creative industries.
- Organised adaptable and proactive in approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about fostering student creativity.
