Join our Wastewater (Sewage) team as a frontline Technician Apprentice and play a vital role in keeping our sites and equipment operating safely reliably and efficiently. This is your chance to build a longterm career with Anglian Water and make a real impact on the environment and our communities.
Youll split your time between college learning and handson experience across our operational sites. Youll support the wastewater recycling processcollecting treating and cleaning wastewater before returning it safely to our rivers and seas.
This is a practical outdoor role where no two days are the same. Its varied rewarding and occasionally challenging but youll be part of a supportive team who will help you grow into a skilled technician. Once qualified youll join a 24/7 standby rota because your role is vital.

What youll do
Inspect maintain and care for essential assets and equipment
Support faultfinding and respond to issues to help keep our sites running efficiently
Workand learnalongside experiencedmechanicaland electricaltechnicians and follow health & safety rules
Follow all health & safety procedures
Take ownership of your development and contribute to team success
What were looking for
English Maths and Science GCSE (grades 94/A*C) we can also accept Level 2 Functional Skills - predicted grades will be accepted if you have not yet completed your exams
A genuine interest in the water industry and protecting the environment
Good communication skills and a strong team mindset
Willingness to work outdoors and learn new skills
If you do not currently hold a full UK drivinglicenceyoullneed to obtain one by the end of year two of theprogramme or if thisisntpossible due to your age within one year of your 17th birthday.
