We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Mechanical Project Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical or electrical engineering (BSc/BTech) and proven experience managing projects in mineral processing food & beverage light industrial or building services environments.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate mechanical (and some electrical) project scopes from concept through to commissioning.
Engage directly with clients consultants and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Oversee and support the fit-out of entertainment venues across South Africa.
Provide project engineering support for mineral processing projects and related sectors.
Monitor project progress budgets and timelines to ensure quality and efficiency.
Prepare and review technical documentation drawings and specifications.

Requirements:

BSc or BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years project engineering experience in relevant industries (mineral processing food & beverage light industry or building services).
Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Hands-on project management experience with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
Willingness to travel nationally for site work and client meetings.
