Job Summary
An exciting opportunity for an electrical engineer with a passion for innovation and applied research. Join a progressive engineering team focused on developing and testing advanced electrical systems and technologies.
Job Description:
- Drive and support R&D initiatives related to electrical systems power components and emerging technologies
- Perform laboratory testing and performance evaluation of electrical equipment and systems
- Analyse test data and contribute to design improvements and optimisation
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering and research teams
- Prepare detailed technical reports specifications and research documentation
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical engineering R&D or testing environments
- Strong understanding of electrical systems components and performance characteristics
- Hands-on experience with laboratory testing commissioning or prototyping
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills
Qualification:
- Masters degree (MEng/MSc) in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering essential
