Purpose Of The Job:
Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical professional to handle and optimize financial operations across their dealer network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and improving dealer profitability handling and optimising dealer incentive schemes and benchmarking the same vs industry overseeing the dealer advertisement fund and its rightful utilisation processing dealer claims within specified turnaround time complying with all compliance requirements and internal process and approvals and liaising with banks and financial institutions for dealer /end customer financing solutions. It will initially be a 12-month temporary contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. This is not a managerial role and does not require attendance at Exco meetings. The client is seeking to fill this newly created position with an individual who is comfortable handling financial problem-solving across their dealer network. This is an operational role meaning the individual will independently manage queries and resolve issues as they arise. There are no direct reports associated with this position.
Responsibilities:Dealer Profitability Management- Analyse dealership financial statements to assess profitability and recommend improvement plans
- Track and report key dealer KPIs (e.g. gross margin working capital ROI)
- Develop dashboards and MIS reports for dealer health monitoring
- Provide support and guidance to underperforming dealers
Dealer Incentive Schemes- Design and implement incentive programs aligned with company sales and service objectives
- Coordinate with Sales Finance and IT teams to ensure seamless incentive disbursement
- Track dealer performance against incentive metrics and share regular updates with stakeholders
- Audit and validate claims related to incentive programs to avoid misuse
Dealer Advertisement Fund (DAF) Management- Oversee the allocation utilization and audit of the Dealer Advertisement Fund
- Ensure adherence to guidelines and approval processes for dealer-led advertising
- Collaborate with the Marketing team for co-branded campaigns and fund disbursal
- Track ROI of local marketing efforts and recommend optimizations
Dealer Claims Processing- Establish a transparent and timely claims management process for warranty incentives and other dealer reimbursements
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies in claims
- Comply with all internal process compliance and approvals
- Monitor claim turnaround times and maintain SLA adherence
- Implement periodic audits to ensure compliance and accuracy
Dealer / Customer Financing & Banking Relations- Build and maintain relationships with banks/financial institutions to facilitate inventory and retail financing for dealers
- Negotiate favourable terms for the dealer network and assist in onboarding new financiers
- Act as a liaison between the dealer and financial institutions to resolve funding-related issues
- Track dealer credit utilization and support in managing dealer liquidity
Requirements / Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years of commercial marketing management experience preferably in the automotive industry or similar/related sector
- Not Exco Level
- 12 Month Temporary Position to Permanent
- Graduate in Commerce / Business Administration
- Strong knowledge of product positioning consumer trend analysis campaign planning development and execution as well as strong project management experience
- Proficient understanding of digital marketing and related platforms an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Financial acumen and understanding of cost optimization through ROI metric measurements
- Collaborative Agile and Bold person to support dealer network
