Job Summary

Reports to: Business Development Manager and Customer Services Division Manager

Remuneration: Market Related dependent on skill set knowledge and experience (Basic Incentive Car allowance Cellphone allowance Mileage allowance)

Purpose Of The Job:

Our client is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Parts Program Manager to join their Team to maximise sales of Parts through the Trade Club programme and the sale of all Parts to the Dealer Network by supporting Dealer trade sales and marketing activity and providing sales and general management for the Trade Sales Development Managers.


Responsibilities:
  • Agree National marketing campaigns and processes needed to establish and maintain an effective and efficient Trade Parts sales operation
  • Assist in the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) at individual national regional and individual Dealer levels
  • Support Trade Sales Development Managers in recruiting new Dealers onto Trade Club and related sales and marketing programmes
  • Report on Dealer qualification standards relating to the Trade Club element of the programme and approve eligible rebate payments under this scheme
  • Participate in relevant Conference Calls when requested
  • To measure compliance with Trade Club programme standards devise action plans as appropriate to be followed by Dealer and Field team and to advise Aftersales Marketing of Dealer performance as requested
  • To feedback to Head Office details of competitive actions and/or Trade sales opportunities for company
  • Attend Head Office and Dealer meetings as necessary and present as required; propose content/agenda items/meetings as necessary
  • Key liaison between head office and South Africa to ensure smooth delivery of all key Trade Club program elements
  • Prepare and present monthly Trade Club reports as per company requirements
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience in same or similar role as Automotive Parts Program Manager in the motor industry OEM or wholesale level
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages
  • Normally home based on Fridays while the rest of the week will be based at head office
  • Experience managing programs projects or large-scale initiatives marketing deadlines and team management
  • Strong Sales experience is essential
  • Exposure to OEM dealership manufacturing or automotive supplier environments independent Parts suppliers Repairers and Parts department at dealership level
  • Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering sales finance operations suppliers)
  • Drivers License
