Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of exceptional patient care while managing costs effectively.
- Foster a supportive work environment that empowers and encourages the professional growth of our staff.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and departmental plans as well as nursing standards and procedures.
- Contribute to the positive reputation of our hospital by providing outstanding care tailored to each patients needs.
- Exercise sound judgment in alignment with medical plans department policies and licensure regulations.
- Supervise and mentor staff providing guidance training and support to optimize performance.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to maintain organizational and nursing standards.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication among the interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate proficiency in management and delegation principles.
- Undertake additional tasks and projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care management experience within a unit is required.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing is essential.
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact state license is mandatory.
- Valid Healthcare Provider BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross is necessary.
