Communication Coordinator

AMSA Level 4 $87891 - $.4% superannuation

Canberra Brisbane Melbourne Sydney Coffs Harbour (WFH flexibility available)

Non-ongoing fulltime (part-time considered) for up to 12 months

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join AMSAs Corporate Communication and Media team to deliver engaging communication and stakeholder engagement activities that promote maritime safety and environmental protection.

You will create user-centred content and communication products for internal and external stakeholders for distribution across various channels.

You will be responsible for:

  • coordinating communication activities and evaluating impact
  • creating engaging content for diverse audiences
  • supporting AMSA media operations and internal events
  • assisting internal stakeholders with communication needs
  • managing team mailbox and supporting communication projects

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this position you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience developing and evaluating communication products and activities including campaigns for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to tailor content for varied audiences.
  • Understanding of digital channels including such as social media email marketing intranet and website.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to acquire an understanding of AMSA and its role in the Australian community.
