Job Summary
About the role
CrewSELECT is seeking qualified Electrical Switchboard Testers for busy switchboard manufacturing workshops in Wakerley and Hemmant.
Youll be testing inspecting and verifying low-voltage switchboards before dispatch ensuring all electrical control and protection systems meet Australian standards.
- Wakerley: Permanent opportunity
- Hemmant: Temp-to-perm position
Both sites are hiring immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional and insulation testing on switchboards
- Identify diagnose and repair electrical faults
- Verify compliance with wiring diagrams and schematics
- Complete detailed test records and documentation
- Collaborate with assembly teams to ensure build quality
Qualifications / Experience required
- Current Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence (QLD)
- Previous experience testing LV switchboards essential
- Confident in control wiring protection circuits & PLC interfaces
- Able to interpret complex electrical drawings
- Strong focus on safety accuracy and workmanship
