Job Summary
Job Title: Principal Associate - IT

SUMMARY OF ROLE AND OBJECTIVES:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commvault Backup Administrator with deep end-to-end expertise in Commvault software including domain architecture enterprise deployment and advanced data protection strategies. This role is critical to ensuring the resilience scalability and compliance of our backup infrastructure across hybrid environments.
ROLE & OBJECTIVES:
Design implement and manage Commvault backup architecture including domain creation COMM Serve configuration MediaAgent deployment and storage policies.
Lead enterprise-wide backup and recovery strategy across physical virtual and cloud platforms.
Architect and maintain scalable backup domains tailored to business units compliance zones and geographic regions.
Perform advanced troubleshooting performance tuning and root cause analysis of backup failures and system bottlenecks.
Automate backup workflows reporting and alerting using scripting (PowerShell Bash Python).
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR HIPAA ISO 27001).
Collaborate with infrastructure cloud and application teams to align backup strategies with business continuity goals.
Evaluate and implement Commvault software upgrades patches and new features.
Required
Proven expertise in building and managing Commvault domains CommCells and distributed backup architectures.
Strong knowledge of Windows Linux VMware and cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP).
Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell Bash Python).
Experience with enterprise storage systems (NetApp Dell EMC HPE).
Commvault Certified Master or Professional (preferred).
Excellent communication documentation and leadership skills
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
7 to 11 years of hands-on experience with Commvault software in enterprise environments.

Certification:
Mandatory Commvault Certification
Cloud certifications in Azure/GCp public cloud -Good to Have
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or comparable education .
Certification ITIL Foundation V3 highly appreciated but not mandatory.
